Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is headquartered in New Delhi, India. The SSC functions as a division of the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), which is the premier Indian organisation to recruit staff for different posts in various ministries, departments, and organisations in the Government of India.

The SSC conducts several exams, and the two major ones include – Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level (SSC CGL) and Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level (SSC CHSL). The SSC CGL hires for Group ‘B’ or Group ‘C’ posts which include – Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Sub Inspector, Tax Assistant, and many more.
